All of City Food's fresh meat items are hand-trimmed daily using only the
freshest domestic steer short plates and navels. We purchase our beef
directly from western slaughterers and bone it within 2-3 days of slaughter
for the ultimate in freshness and flavor.
Our foreman, Bruno Humberg, calls upon his 50 years of boning experience
to carefully monitor our skilled butchers. We are proud of the high degree
of quality control Bruno strictly enforces.
The pride shows in all of our choice beef products, which are trimmed to
rigid and consistent specifications. Our fresh meat products are all
packaged on state-of-the-art Super Vac packaging equipment.
