Since our founding in 1939, we at City Foods have dedicated our efforts to
delivering only the finest in meats, service and value. From our delectable
Bea's Best line of raw corned beef to our Chef's Pride selection of cooked
deli meats, all of our meats are hand-trimmed daily from the freshest,
western-raised domestic steer meat and cut at City Foods within 2 - 3 days
of slaughter.
City Foods, Inc. is a USDA inspected facility (#1896), which produces about
400,000 - 500,000 lbs. of beef products per week. Most of our volume is in
the form of large quantities of fresh domestic bone-in steer navels which we
bone out daily. We purchase truckloads of USDA Select and USDA Choice
navels only from U.S. Slaughterers.
We have a crew of highly skilled butchers who bone the fresh short plates
to produce high quality fresh and frozen beef trimmings, outer skirt steaks,
inner skirt steaks, navel pastrami pieces, beef bacon pieces, center cut
navel short ribs, rib finger meat, bones and XF trim.
We also bone out large quantities of bone-in briskets which we use to
produce our nationally distributed Bea's Best raw corned beef briskets.
This allows us to ensure we deliver only the freshest, highest quality beef
products at the most competitive prices. We also make Bea's Best raw
corned beef rounds and steamship rounds. All of our Bea's Best products
are manufactured on premises using the finest national ingredients
including pure liquid garlic for a delicious "Kosher-style" flavor. They can all
be labeled USDA Choice or higher. All products including our Bea's Best
corned beef can be packed in both retail and institutional packs.
